Alexandra Campbell is a painter and illustrator currently located in the Yarra Ranges in Victoria, Australia. Combining art and wellness together and demonstrating the simplicity of incorporating them into our daily lives. Offering tutorials, reviews, consultancy, advocacy, acceptance and support she demonstrates how important it is to make time to create amongst other areas of her life – taking it all back to biggest lesson she’s learnt – keeping it simple.
Practising art from a young age and in school, Alex holds a GCSE in Art from high school. An attempt at an AS Level in Art lead to an NVQ Level 2 in Graphic Design. An attempt at a Diploma Level 4 in Art & Design lead to having her baby and beginning her business as an artist.
She always maintains a high level of self learning and using mentors.
In 2011 Alex ventured around Australia for 2 years then diving into wellness and mental health by gaining a Level 3 in Complementary Therapies. In 2017 at 31 years old she received her Autism Spectrum diagnosis. Since then Alex has grown from strength to strength along with her family and in 2018, emigrated from the UK all the way back to Australia.
Since 2016 Alex has become an art brand, curating her own exhibition, being published in magazines and working hard to produce for her online store and beginning her YouTube channel.
Alex is known for her work to be colourful and unique. She focuses on the sentimental and emotional aspects when working, and loves to interpret the importance of wellness in her art. She also raises many points on perception and individuality in her work. When not working on major projects, her favourite subjects are people and food.
Alex’s favourite things are avocados, walking, gaming, crochet, noodles, and holographic colours!
